You could always cheat and use Birds ready made Raspberry or Strawberry Trifle mixes! Us Brits are not to be beaten by the French cooks though, try Tescos Panna Cotta mix to see how well a British Panna Cotta stands up!

Although we can’t ship you a fresh white sliced loaf, we can supply you with what you need to dress it up…. See our Savory and Sweet Spreads section - there will be plenty of spreads in there to tempt you. Take the finest Wilkin & Sons English Honey, or Gales Pure Honey, or if you are more of a Marmalade or Jam person, you must see our range of Harleys, Frank Coopers, Lichfields, Marks and Spencer, Duchy Organic, Sainsburys and Waitrose Spreads. The bread may not be from home, but the topping absolutely has to be.

Everyone has the occasional ache and pain. It’s a part of life, and the British way is to show a “stiff upper lip”.
