If there is one thing us Brits love about our food, it has got to be pudding!  We owe a lot to French cuisine, but in our opinion many of the French classics have only been improved by British cooks over the years. We would choose either Ambrosia Devon Custard, Aunt Bessies Custard or freshly made Birds Custard when poured over a steaming hot Mr Kipling Bramley Apple Pie! There is always the question of what to do with the leftover Custard, well we’ve got that covered as well - Trifle! A British classic pudding thats easy to make with Waitrose Trifle Sponges or Sainsburys Taste The Difference Savoiardi Sponges and our huge range of tinned fruit.  You could always cheat and use Birds ready made Raspberry or Strawberry Trifle mixes!  Us Brits are not to be beaten by the French cooks though, try Tescos Panna Cotta mix to see how well a British Panna Cotta stands up!

 

Although we can’t ship you a fresh white sliced loaf, we can supply you with what you need to dress it up…. See our Savory and Sweet Spreads section  - there will be plenty of spreads in there to tempt you.  Take the finest Wilkin & Sons English Honey, or Gales Pure Honey, or if you are more of a Marmalade or Jam person, you must see our range of Harleys, Frank Coopers, Lichfields, Marks and Spencer, Duchy Organic, Sainsburys and Waitrose Spreads.  The bread may not be from home, but the topping absolutely has to be.

 

Everyone has the occasional ache and pain.  It’s a part of life, and the British way is to show a “stiff upper lip”.  Well, we can help you maintain this with our range of British pharmaceutical products from major supermarkets.  Blocked nose? For us it has to be Olbas Oil or Vicks vaporub - just the smell of it takes you back to childhood!  Touch of flu getting you down? Reach for the Lemsip.  Sore back or shoulders after a hard days work (or play) ? Try Deep Heat rub ot Cura-Heat or ThermaCare patches, or if you dare reach for the Tiger Balm (but only if you dare!).  Cuts and scrapes are taken care of with Germolene antiseptic Wound Care cream or Savlon skin healing cream with Savlon or Elastoplast plasters to help stop further injury.  Of course we also supply a huge range of daily vitamins and minerals to help keep you in tip-top shape, so why not add a packet or two to your order?

 

Cheese and crackers.  For some it’s a light meal, for others it’s the perfect way to end a dinner party.  Whatever you prefer we can ship you all the best crackers from British supermarkets.  Whether it’s the classic British Jacobs Cream Cracker, or the more indulgent Millers savoury biscuits, or maybe a selection from Tescos Savory range, you supply the cheese and we’ll help you finish it off.

 

Love it or hate it, Marmite is one of those British brands that has been dividing opinion since it was launched in 1902.  Of course we can deliver pots of the lovely stuff to your door, from the massive 600g tub, to the perfect portion size 24 x 8g packs.  There is more to Marmite than just the brown spread though, if you love it have a look at the Rice Cakes and Cashew nuts we found for you, and of course don’t forget the very popular 6 pack of Marmite Crisps!
