FAQ Do you hold stock? No. We purchase items on demand to ensure the longest possible shelf life. What payment methods do you accept? We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Switch/Maestro cards. Is your website secure for credit card payments? Yes. We take our security obligations very seriously. We use ProtX to process our card payments.They only communicate with your card issuer. We never receive your card details. ProtX are PCI DSS level one compliant and are an active member of the PCI SSC (Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council). ProtX use a number of fraud prevention tools including Verified by Visa/MasterCard Secure Code.
How do I order goods from you? Click on any items that you wish to buy and add them to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. How soon will I receive my order? Generally, we shop for your items on the working day after you place your order. Providing we can obtain everything you request, the items will be despatched that day by your chosen method. The delivery time will depend on your chosen service. We do not shop in all stores every day so certain items take us longer to obtain. However, delays can be caused by unavailability of items, time differences should we need to contact you and get a reply, as well as set backs experienced by our couriers. Also customs officials in your country may wish to inspect your parcel, which will add extra time. What do you do if an item is unavailable? If we cannot obtain an item, we will refund the cost of it plus the cost of the shipping to your card. How will I know when to expect my delivery? We will e-mail you on the day we send your goods. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee exact delivery times on behalf of our couriers so the stated delivery times are guidelines only. I cannot find what I am looking for. If you cannot find an item listed on our site either by browsing or by using the search facility, please contact us either by phone or e-mail and we will do our best to find it. Can I pay for my goods in my local currency? We only accept payment in Pounds Sterling. Your credit card company will convert the payment to your local currency, often at a better exchange rate than we can obtain. Are there any restrictions on sending my goods to me? Some countries do have restrictions on certain goods. Please refer to your local import authority for further information. How can I contact you? By phone, fax or e-mail. Our details are on the contact us page. Can my order be delivered to a different address? Yes, although we still need the address your card is registered at (usually your home address) for the card verification process. Is there a minimum amount I can order? No. You can order one single item if you wish. However, our couriers levy a minimum fee for delivery and so the more you order, the cheaper the delivery costs per kilo. How much does shipping cost? This depends on the size and weight of your chosen items. Certain items (such as crisps) are light but take up a lot of space. You can add and remove items to the shopping cart and see the shipping cost in the checkout. You can do this as often as you like as the order is not completed until you click "done" at the bottom of the last page. Can I order chilled or frozen goods? No. Due to the potential length of time for delivery, we can only supply ambient groceries.
